Want to run a successful festival? Here are some great ideas for lists to drive your attendees to do more stuff, and share more as it’s happening.
Promote the entertainment line-up
Of course you website is going to publish an agenda, but make it a list and your attendees can select what they have seen or intend to see. Make sure the title, description and image you use make it clear.
Promote your vendors
If you have merchandise vendors and food vendors, these could be separate lists, or one list depending on the number at your event. Challenge your visitors to stop by each one.
Promote local offerings outside the festival grounds
Festival operators know that some locals get no benefit yet suffer the hassles of large crowds. Play nice with your local municipality and you won’t find yourself blocked next time. Make a list of places to stay, must see attractions while they are in town, and shops that are in and around your venue. The locals will like it, your visitors will like it and it may smoother over a few naysayers.
